Paint code = 857 Medium/Nordic/Feel Like Blue

    22R 2.4L I4 Carbureted - : 96(100)hp@4800 & 129lb./ft. @2800
    Displacement: 2366cc - C/R: 9.0:1 - Bore & Stoke 92mm x 89mm
    L50 5 speed transmission
    RF1A Transfer case with stock 2.28 gear reduction
    4.111 gears (now getting 4.88)

Upgrade Status

Stage 1 Fundamentals (complete)

* oil and filters (2x oil, air, fuel)
* Drain crappy 'gas' from tank
* Replace plugs, wires, cap and rotor
* Replace battery with Optima RedTop..
* Replace Optima RedTop with Optima RedTop..

Stage 2 De-red-necking (complete)

* Remove bug deflector & Confederate Flags
* Remove Smittybilt front bumper
* Remove tubular nerf bars and rear bumper
* Remove (4) front KC HiLiTES
* Install roll bar padding
* Remove Diamond plate crap from bed
* Install Herculiner bed liner

Stage 3 Fuel & Carb (complete)

* Replace Aisin Carb with Weber 'Outlaw' 38 DGES Carb
* Install RCI fuel cell, lines, filter, etc. (-8 AN send/return & 5/16" under hood)
* Finish building fuel cell box and spare tire mount(s)

Stage 4 Wheels & Tires (complete)

* Replace American Racing Outlaw wheels with ProComp Rock Crawler 82 (white-16x8, -12ET/4"bs)
* Replace Wild Country with Yokohama Geolander M/T+ (315/75-16)

Stage 5 Paint and Install bumpers (complete)

* Paint & Install Marlin front bumper
* Paint & Install Marlin rear bumper

Stage 6 Interior

* Install interior door panels and window regulators (complete)
* Install Celica seats ('98 JDM ST202)


Stage 7 Lighting

* Install (2) T3Q / JDM OEM Yellow Fogs
* Install (2) PIAA / JDM Yellow Fogs


Stage 8 Brake

* Install IFS/V6 4 pot calipers
* Install vented rotors
* Install backing plate eliminators


Stage 9 Suspension

* Install Bilstein shocks
* Replace leaf springs with something else..


Misc. items

* Remove OEM fuel tank
* Install EGR block off plate
* Install OEM heater


Stage 10+ Differentials

*Upgrade differentials to 4.88 gears & lockers

Going to finish the fuel cell box and spare tire mount tonight. Paint and re-install the bumpers too.. Pictures to follow.

Box is all done and up in the bed protecting the fuel cell and mount for the spare. Bumpers are painted with Duplicolor Metal Cast (smoke). Great product, came out great! They are drying and i'll mount them up in the AM and snap some pics!

Front bumper is mounted. I have to drill 2 holes and weld on the rear in the morning. I was running late today and didn't get any pictures.. sigh..

However... Matt P. is coming over tomorrow to work on the 40 and he's a camera whore.. and JC is coming up on Sunday evening for a snorkel install. So... between those two days I should get a crap load of pics. :D

Bumpers came out great. I def. recommend Duplicolor Metalcast.

Doors are arriving tomorrow! Going to paint and install in time to freeze at the HVR run! It'll probably snow now..
