SW22 MR2 Turbo ('93-'95)

I've always been a big fan of the Celica but also the MR2. I really miss my old AW11 but am happy to see it being driven and used properly by the hands of Matt S. Still pulling strong from his last report.

Getting back to the SW22. I have come close to buying one on several occassions. Most recently when shopping for a new track toy in June of '09. There was a pristine '95 that would have made a good addition to (iG) but I decided I didn't want another red car and pulled the trigger on the ZZT-231 GT-S.

Perhaps in 2011 I'll finally pick up one of my most desired cars. The mod list would be clean and simple providing excellent handing and grip while adding additional safe horsepower for a daily driven toy. I really mis having a "street machine" if you will. This is something I classify as a simple, but highly effective, cost efficient monster... easily good enough for track days but not to be stored for limited use. In short. I'm going to drive the damn thing a lot.

A clean example of a simple SW22 with some Volk wheels - wanted only $6500

another fantastic example-

sale pending ~$11k

This 2 is a STEAL at that price, no way to reproduce the mods at that cost- It's like paying $6000 for a 93T and $5000 for all of the other stuff.. Insane.. Pristine condition two.. the cleanest I've seen in a while.

These are the cars that got me interested in the sport compact car culture.

:) We'll see what 2011 brings. I may sell a toy or two to get this in the garage. I love MR2.
