To some this may look like just another Celica. But, it's no ordinary Celica, but a GT-S.. ok, big deal, right? wrong.

8600 RPM (rebuild will net 9400+)
200 wheel horse power.. that's to the ground, from a 1.8 liter NA motor. (approx. 230 crank hp)
The car weighs just 2100 lb. That's a power to weight ratio rivaling much more $$ machines.

It's a FWD car.. BUT, it was designed to rotate/over-steer. Now that it has been modified.. It will scare you.

This car is just as fast as my $$$$$$$ track prepped Z car. For about a sixth of the price. Plus is sounds like an F1 car. I had numerous people at the track coming from the other side of the facility to see what in the hell was making that kind of noise of lots of occasions. :assault:

This machine will most likely sit out the 2010 season. A rebuild is on the way along with a TRD LSD I have on the shelf. This will end the project.

bah.. been too long! Indeed the GT-S sat the entire 2010 season. I'm looking to getting the LSD installed.. still deciding on clutch and flywheel. Need to replace the bearing and she should be good as used. ;)

Lots of parts above that are still not installed (*)

Not Installed
* Beatrush 3pt. Rear Strut Tower Bar*
* Rear JIC FLT-A2 Coilovers*
* F/R StopTech SS Brake Lines*
* Endless ME20 Pads*
* MWR / Moroso Oil Pan*
* Japan GTO billet 5mm spacers*

I'm an idiot for not installing the MWR oil pan sooner.. I had it when the bearing spun.. that would have prevented it from happening.. Live and learn.. nothing I can do about it now beside not let it happen again.

JIC rear coilovers need installed.. should be an easy 30-60 minute job.

New Endless pads for the StopTech bbk.. that'll get it from 60-0..
SS steel brake lines..

Some 5mm spacers for add'l clearance on the front caliper.. there's maybe 2mm now..

And last but not least the Beatrush 3pt. rear strut tower bar..

whew..
